The meeting is held with all the leaders of the basic and main units, as well as with the members of the Study Commission of the Agricultural University of Tirana, with the aim of discussing and making decisions regarding the preparations for drafting and finalizing the necessary procedures for the official application of any new educational program, reorganized according to the model of the BOKU University of Vienna and proposed by UBT.
The meeting follows the work for the improvement and modernization of UBT's academic offerings, which took shape based on the analysis of the current needs of the labor market, the inclusion of interdisciplinary components, and the increase in compliance with European standards of higher education.
Starting from the academic year 2025-2026, UBT will offer these study programs, certified by the BOKU University of Vienna:
- Agricultural Science and Food Security
- Environmental and Water Engineering
- Forest Engineering
- IT in Agriculture and Environment
- Economics
- Business Management
- Food Technology
- Food and Nutrition Sciences
- Interior Design and Wood Engineering.
In addition to these 9 new programs, which are certified and identical to the programs offered by BOKU Vienna, the existing programs in: Veterinary Medicine, Business Informatics, and Finance-Accounting will also continue.
