Career opportunities after graduation include employment as a forestry engineer, consultant for forest and environmental management, employment in government institutions, scientific researcher in forestry, national park manager, expert in environmental agencies for natural resource management, and employment in the wood processing and design industry. The career may also include education and training in the field of forestry sciences.

The mission of the Faculty of Forestry Sciences is to promote sustainable management and conservation of forest ecosystems through quality education, innovative scientific research, and active engagement with third parties. As a leading institution in forestry sciences, the faculty is committed to preparing skilled professionals equipped with the knowledge and competencies necessary to address contemporary environmental challenges, including climate change, biodiversity loss, and the sustainable use of natural resources. Through academic programs aligned with those of the BOKU University in Vienna, the faculty fosters critical thinking, practical skills, interdisciplinary approaches, and the integration of scientific principles with traditional knowledge, in accordance with national and international standards in the field of forestry and environmental protection. The Faculty of Forestry Sciences also plays an important role in advancing research and innovation by collaborating with government agencies, NGOs, and international institutions. The faculty aims to be a center of excellence that not only educates the future leaders of forestry but also contributes to the sustainable development and environmental well-being of Albania and the region.
