Welcome to the Faculty of Agriculture and Environment

The Faculty of Agriculture and Environment (FBM) is one of the fundamental and most important units of the Agricultural University of Tirana, committed to providing quality education and contemporary scientific research in the fields of agriculture and the environment. With a tradition dating back to 1951, FBM has prepared generations of specialists, researchers, and professionals who have contributed to the development of the agricultural sector, the management of natural resources, and the protection of the environment in Albania. FBM aims to contribute to the sustainable development of the country by promoting innovation in agricultural and environmental technologies, based on the principles of nature conservation and care for strategic resources such as water, land, and biodiversity. The faculty offers modern study programs at the Bachelor and Master levels, covering areas such as plant cultivation, animal husbandry, food security, environmental management, and the use of information technology in agriculture. Within the framework of the "UBT 2030" vision and in collaboration with the BOKU University of Vienna, three new Bachelor programs have been developed and are offered, representing an interdisciplinary and labor market-oriented approach:

1. Environmental and Water Engineering

2. Agricultural Science and Food Security

3. Information Technology in Agriculture and Environment

These programs provide students with practical and theoretical competencies to successfully integrate into the national and international job market. FBM offers contemporary educational and research environments, equipped with specialized laboratories, digital tools, and practical fields, fostering a culture of critical thinking, innovation, and partnership. At a time when challenges to agriculture and the environment are becoming increasingly complex, FBM is the place where passion for nature, science, and technology intertwine to build the future.
