Graduation Ceremony: Over 1,500 Students Graduate from AUT Amid Emotions and Inspiration for the Future

A great pleasure and pride for the Agriculture University of Tirana was this year’s graduation ceremony, where over 1,500 students successfully completed an important stage of their academic journey and took their first steps toward new professional challenges.

In a special atmosphere filled with emotion and positive energy, students, parents, and their loved ones were present, turning this day into a shared celebration of success. In every corner of the university amphitheater, the emotions of a long journey could be felt, as smiles and tears of joy naturally intertwined. Touching moments were not absent, as some students had brought their children with them, making this achievement not only personal but also a family milestone.

This ceremony was honored by the presence of Ms. Mirela Kumbaro, Minister of Education, and Mr. Andis Salla, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, whose participation added special significance to this moment for the university community. In their remarks, they emphasized the role of higher education and UBT in the country’s development, encouraging graduates to contribute with knowledge, professionalism, and dedication to key sectors of the economy.

The Rector of AUT, Prof. Dr. Fatbardh Sallaku, in his welcoming speech emphasized the importance of this moment for both the students and the university itself, highlighting that today’s graduates are a valuable asset for the country’s future and a reflection of the quality of education offered by UBT.

An inspiring message was delivered by renowned entrepreneur Altin Prenga, a AUT alumnus and founder of Mrizi i Zanave, who encouraged students to become “influencers of agriculture” by promoting the values of the land and the sector’s potential in a modern and innovative way.

An artistic and festive dimension brought additional vibrancy to the ceremony through the performance of student Ibrahim Rustemaj together with the Ensemble of the “Qemal Stafa” School Qemal Stafa, who performed traditional dances, bringing Albanian rhythms and traditions to the stage and creating a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere.

The ceremony was also marked by the recognition of 12 students with certificates of appreciation, who were honored for their outstanding achievements, becoming inspiring role models for the entire student community.

One of the most anticipated moments of the ceremony was the distribution of diplomas to all attendees, organized by faculties. This symbolic act represented the culmination of a long journey of study and dedication, crowning each student’s hard work and sacrifices with the awarding of their degree.

In conclusion, the symbolic moment of tossing the caps into the air brought an outburst of emotions and joy, sealing an unforgettable day for AUT and for over 1,500 graduates, who now embark on a new journey toward the future.
