Students of the Master of Science (MSc) programs in Agronomic Sciences and Renewable Energy from the Agricultural University of Tirana conducted an academic and professional study visit to the Vlora Agricultural Technology Transfer Center.
During this visit, the students were closely acquainted with the center’s research activities and its main fields of work, which include the adaptation and testing of new agricultural technologies and inputs, the development of technological packages and field-applicable projects for farmers, as well as the provision of technical assistance and professional training for the design, establishment, and management of nurseries and plantations.
The visit served as an important opportunity to strengthen the link between academic training and professional practice, contributing to the enhancement of students’ practical skills, a deeper understanding of knowledge transfer processes and the adoption of innovative technologies, as well as the broadening of perspectives for future professional engagement and employment.
