The study program “Interior Design and Wood Engineering” is built on a modern and integrated approach, where interdisciplinarity forms the basis of students’ academic and professional training. It combines scientific, technological, economic, and creative knowledge to prepare specialists capable of meeting the challenges of the wood industry and interior design. The program is based on a strong foundation in natural sciences (mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology), which is combined with knowledge in engineering and technology, such as mechanics, material strength, thermodynamics, wood technology, wood protection, wood-based panels, furniture production from design to realization, interior design, and the use of digital tools (CAD, CNC). In parallel, economic and managerial aspects are also integrated, such as business process management, marketing, and production organization. The program covers the entire wood value chain, from raw material to final product, linking theory with practice through projects, professional internships, and the diploma thesis. Students can specialize in Wood Technology Engineering or Furniture and Interior Design, developing an integrated technical, creative, and managerial profile.
