The Agricultural University of Tirana signed a cooperation agreement with the National Inspectorate for Territorial Protection (IKMT), opening up more opportunities for professional internships, training, and employment for students, particularly those from the Faculty of Forestry Sciences.
One of the key components of the agreement is the engagement of AUT’s academic staff in training and qualifying IKMT inspectors. This process aims to enhance their professional capacities, improve working standards, and strengthen modern approaches to monitoring and protecting the territory. The cooperation also предусматриes support in assessing IKMT’s human capacities, as well as identifying needs for further institutional development.
Within the framework of this agreement, the parties will also collaborate on joint initiatives related to knowledge exchange, student involvement in professional internships, and the development of projects of mutual interest. This creates concrete opportunities for AUT students to engage in real work processes and gain practical experience in sectors that are essential for the country’s development.
Through this cooperation, AUT once again confirms its role as an important center of expertise in Albania, actively contributing to the support of public institutions and the promotion of sustainable practices in territorial management and environmental protection.
