Cooperation Agreement between UBT and the University of Perugia

The Agricultural University of Tirana and the University of Perugia in Italy have signed a cooperation agreement, further strengthening UBT’s international academic network.

A delegation from the University of Perugia was in Tirana within the framework of the “TNE Health Connect” project, focused on education, networking, and international academic cooperation. The Italian representatives also participated in the activities of the CASEE 2026 international conference, organized by UBT.

The Italian delegation was welcomed at the UBT Rectorate by the Rector, Prof. Dr. Fatbardh Sallaku, Vice Rector for Science and Projects, Prof. Dr. Erinda Lika, and Vice Rector for Institutional and Public Relations, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Romina Koto.

The delegation from the University of Perugia included Prof. Marco Mazzoni, Deputy Rector for Communication and University Site Policy, Prof. Emidio Albertini, Deputy Rector for the Third Mission, Social Innovation and Community Relations, and Prof. David Ranucci, scientific coordinator of the project.

The cooperation agreement foresees the exchange of students, academic staff and researchers, the organization of seminars and scientific conferences, as well as the development of joint initiatives in fields of mutual interest.

Through this partnership, UBT aims to bring more international experiences and concrete cooperation opportunities for students and academic staff, while further expanding the university’s presence within European networks of higher education and scientific research.
