The Agricultural University of Tirana held an official meeting with representatives of the University of Camerino (Italy), with the aim of signing a new cooperation agreement within the framework of the Erasmus+ program.
The new agreement, which is a standard Erasmus agreement, focuses on academic cooperation in the field of Veterinary Medicine, creating opportunities for student and academic staff mobility, as well as for the exchange of experiences and the strengthening of interinstitutional cooperation.
From the University of Camerino, the meeting was attended by Ms. Anna Pupilli, Head of the Erasmus Office, International Students and Staff, as well as Prof. Luciano Barboni, Rector’s Delegate for mobility and cooperation with countries outside the European Union.
During their visit to the Agricultural University of Tirana, the representatives of the University of Camerino met with the Rector of AUT, Prof. Dr. Fatbardh Sallaku, as well as the Vice-Rector for Science and Projects, Prof. Dr. Erinda Lika, where they discussed the importance of this agreement and the prospects for the further development of academic cooperation.
AUT has previously had successful academic collaborations with this university.
The University of Camerino is one of the oldest and most renowned universities in Italy, founded in 1336. It is located in the city of Camerino, in the Marche region, and is well known for its high-quality teaching, scientific research, and a welcoming environment for international students. UNICAM offers study programs in fields such as natural sciences, engineering, architecture, pharmacy, law, and economics, combining academic tradition with modern innovation.
This meeting represents an important step toward expanding the international network of the Agricultural University of Tirana and strengthening cooperation within the framework of European education and research programs.
